Galactic Bastards is an animated comedy currently in development and created by composer/animator Joe Brooks and voice actor Bryan Massey.
The show centers around four members of a space repo squad who have fallen from grace and are on a quest to return to their former glory.
Captain CHASE URANUS and his fellow team members, once celebrated Galactic Defenders, were unjustly blamed for a devastating military catastrophe and exiled to the Belt With No Name on the outskirts of the solar system.
They have been given the false hope by the Directorate that if they complete a number of dangerous and demeaning repo missions they will be given their prestigious lives back and allowed to return to
New Earth.
The Earth has been rebooted.
Now named the New Original Earth, the planet is a paradise exclusively for the mega-rich, known as the Earth Elite, governed by the New Solar Directorate.
All records of date and time before the reboot have been destroyed and any inquiry into the matter is forbidden.
It is currently 185 years after the reboot, the year 185yz.
Commoners and middle class live and work in the Satellite District which circles the Earth in a mandated high orbit so that it resembles a halo.
The planet is surrounded by the Ato-Molecular Shield, which prevents attacks from Underspace, a newly discovered sub-dimensional region dominated by the insane SKULLGOYLE.
Chase is an orphan who was found mysteriously abandoned in the Satellite District and raised by Cmdr Montgomery to be the
greatest astro-soldier in history. Together they defended the galaxy for years until they were exiled.
For Chase, winning equals love. His need to win is so great that he can be blindly optimistic and obtuse even in the most dire situations.
Will he ever find out who he really is and where he came from?
Montgomery is a legendary military genius and last of his family line.
He was the leader of the Galactic Defense until he was politically framed to take the fall for a military debacle.
Now loopy on pills to cope with his depression, Monty spouts nonsensical orders as he tries to maintain control.
Fawn is the sole surviving warrior from the planet Fuschia.
She was their champion but was unable to stop Skullgoyle from destroying her planet.
She blames herself and now, consumed with hatred and vengeance against Skullgoyle, she risks losing herself down a darker path.
Blek is Montgomery's lifelong family robot.
Built before the reboot, Blek is the only sentient being who knows anything about the 'before time' though unfortunately his coding prevents him from divulging anything about it.
Rest assured, he knows things.
Built to be free, but programmed to serve, Blek is a tormented soul.
Would just like to say that we are so grateful to have had the honor of working with the wonderful
Louie Anderson who voiced Skullgoyle as we began this project. He was very kind, greatly encouraging and innately hilarious.
Deeply sorry for all those who knew him best and miss him most.

RULER OF UNDERSPACE!
Skullgoyle took over the family business from his father who had wished that Skullgoyle had never been born. Aloofly malicious, Skullgoyle attempts to surpass his father by being more vile than he ever was.
The core theme of the show is redemption and the premise that even the worst or most flawed characters can be redeemed, whether you're an evil villain or an imperfect hero, all set on top of a retro sci-fi backdrop.
At its heart the show presents a dysfunctional pseudo-family of misfit orphan alpha types who argue amongst themselves as to who knows best but ultimately help each other to become their better selves.
The show format is a standard three act, character driven A & B story situation comedy.
Intended for an Adult Swim audience.
Created by Joe Brooks & Bryan Massey in the year... wait, what year is it now?
